Valorant: EMEA VCT 2022, All Details

Valorant Champions 2021, happening December 2021, is the end of Riot Games’ year-long Valorant Champions Tour 2021 circuit. Riot announced plans for VCT 2022 in the EMEA region shortly after the event concluded.

Following the success of the Valorant Champions Tour’s first season, Riot Games intends to expand the tournament circuit for VCT 2022 by adding numerous new contests and features.

EMEA VCT 2022

• The four EMEA teams that qualified for Valorant Champions 2021 will automatically qualify for the Challengers event in Stage 1.
• Two open and closed qualifiers will be held from January 10 to 23, with a total of eight qualifying berths available.
• Teams from Europe will compete for four spots, while teams from the Commonwealth of Independent States and Turkey will compete for two spots apiece. The MINA region’s players will compete in their preferred qualifying event.

The winners of the eight Valorant Regional Leagues (VRL), as well as the bottom two teams from Stage 1 Challengers, will compete in a Promotion tournament to qualify for VCT in Stage 2. The top two teams from each of the 10 teams will advance to the Stage 2 Challengers event. Teams that do not qualify for the tournament will compete in a VRL.

In comparison to the 2021 season, VCT 2022 will have improved broadcasting. The events VCT, Game Changers, Masters, and Champions will air. These competitions are available in English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian, and Turkish, with more languages coming soon.
