Valorant Update 3.02 Patch Notes, All Details

BY JC Paredes 5 years AGO 2 MIN READ

Today, Riot Games will release Patch 3.02 for VALORANT. Although it isn’t a big release, the developers have addressed some issues with Sage, KAY/O, and Raze.

Apart from game errors, Patch 3.02 addresses a variety of social issues as well. Among other issues, Riot fixed a bug where the team-voice volume settings would always reconfigure to 50, a glitch where the scrollbar in the social panel would occasionally display incorrectly, and the pixelated border surrounding the unranked symbol in the Hover Card UI.

System and Social Update

  • Changed the clipping assessment, resulting in less clipping in your gameplay as a whole.
  • In the Hover Card UI, space has been provided between the Match Rank / Leaderboard Ranking for Immortal+ rankings. Additionally, the VCT Masters Reykjavik Winner Title was overlapping by the Player Card due to a glitch. Lastly, a bug where the fuzzy background made friend notes illegible was corrected.

Agent Fixes

  • Sage can’t use her Barrier Orb to generate a sliver peek between the pyramids on Breeze anymore.

Sage could no longer use her Barrier Orb to generate a “silver peek” between the pyramids on Breeze, which is a very tiny window created by mashing two things and establishing a beneficial line of vision.

  • When KAY/O re-stabilizes during NULL/cmd, his textures no longer apply themselves to firearms (X).

As for KAY/O, the agent added in Patch 3.0, Riot has resolved the bug that was applying KAY/O’s textures to weaponry when he’s re-stabilized during his ULT NULL/cmd(X). The developers also omitted Raze’s ability to place Boombot through some walls.

  • You could no longer place Raze’s Boombot through certain walls.
