- Although his career began in 2015, NBA YoungBoy started taking off in 2018. This was after Atlantic Records signed him and he released his single called “Outside Today”. From there, NBA YoungBoy started going nowhere but up.
- He also set up his own record label called ‘Never Broke Again’ and as of writing, there are sixteen artists signed including YoungBoy. Other notable artists belonging to this record label are Quando Rondo and OG 3Three Never Broken Again.
Solidifying his presence in the rap industry
- In 2019, the rapper collaborated with the late Juice WRLD on his single called “Bandit”. This became NBA YoungBoy’s first top-ten single and it also garnered him a pretty big following after that.
- Aside from his rapping career helping boost his popularity, NBA YoungBoy has also been in prison countless times now. Some of his legal issues include gun use and assault.
