XP Farming In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
The new Story Creator mode for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is increasingly being used to create cheat quests where you can quickly farm XP. This gave Ubisoft a thorn in the eye, so changes are being made. For example, these XP quests should no longer appear in the automatic recommendations or will completely be hidden. Players who continue to use the tool in this way will be banned. Which is why the terms of use are adjusted. In addition to future updates not yet specified solutions are being offered.

“Since the beta’s launch, we’ve seen a growing rise in farming quests using the tool to dump large amounts of XP. This jeopardizes the overall quality, integrity, and purpose of the Story Creator mode. Ultimately leading to lower visibility of the creative, interesting, and fantastic community stories that have been released”, Ubisoft said.
They continue, “We want to focus on rewarding creativity by highlighting quality quests. We’re working on corrections and adjustments to reduce the impact of such farming quests on the gameplay experience”. If you assumed Ubisoft would be okay with XP farming in a single-player game without any striking competitive aspects, you’ll need to consider again.
