The episode started with the opening theme “Song of the Dead” by KANA-BOON. The excitement from the previous episode was carried onto this one. We see Akira celebrating a work-free life after 3 years. The celebration is incomplete without beer and that pushes Akira to go get some in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

He also starts with his bucket list. We get introduced to a nameless character who’s strategizing to get through the zombie apocalypse by averting risks. Akira runs into her only to get called out by her for being so carefree. Further on, we get to see her independent of Akira’s POV. The episode was a weird mix of excitement and the realization of tragedy bringing along a tinge of sadness.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Anime episode 3 will be coming out on July 23rd, 2023. The timings and the streaming platforms will vary depending on the region you’re based in. Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchyroll are the streaming platforms for fans based in the US. For the other regions in Asia and internationally, Muse Communications has made the series available on their YouTube channel. 

As for the release dates and timings, they’ll differ:

With just 2 episodes the anime has managed to garner favorable judgments from the viewers. The animation and art style has impressed the anime watchers and the manga readers all the same. The introduction of a new character has balanced Akira’s high-spiritedness without muting it. The addition of the opening and ending theme in Episode 2 has only made the case stronger for Zom 100.
