Ahead of their matchup, Denver Nuggets guard Jalen Pickett had the internet laughing after his spot-on reaction to how big Wembanyama’s hands are after shaking the super rookie’s hands. Now that we’ve seen Pickett’s hilarious reaction, this now brings everyone to wonder – How big are Victor Wembanyama’s hands really?

The Nugget’s rookie’s reaction has gone viral after he discussed the memorable interaction with the Spurs big man. “We shook hands, I’m not gonna lie, his [Wembanyama’s] hands went to like here [points to a spot on his hand further down his wrist].”

It’s not surprising since Wemby is 7 feet and 4 inches, making him one of the tallest NBA players in history to ever grace the hardwood. He also has a very long wingspan which he fully utilizes to block or alter shots. With an impressive start to the 2023-2024 season, we’re only learning more about the 19-year-old generational talent.

Victor Wembanyama’s hand size is exactly what you think it is

There’s no official record of Victor Wembanyama‘s hand size yet. However, there’s somehow a visual comparison we saw a couple of years ago that we could use to identify how big the French star’s hands really are. Two years ago, Wemby tried to compare his hands with Michael Jordan via memorabilia. It’s not new information that MJ has massive hands, but it’s become more impressive given that he’s only 6 feet and 6 inches.

To be exact, Jordan has an estimated hand size of 9.75/11.375 inches, which currently puts him in eighth place on the list of NBA players with the largest hands. According to the photo that’s resurfacing on the internet, Wemby’s hands are that much bigger than Jordan’s. In a quick eye test, you could observe it’s about an inch bigger than MJ. On the other hand, the player with the biggest recorded hands is the big friendly giant, Boban Marjanovic, who has an estimated 10.75/12 inches.
