New GTA 6 Screenshots Reveal Hurricanes, 170+ Animals and Huge Leonida Details

GTA 6 is getting another major reveal just weeks before players finally head to Leonida. A fresh collection of official screenshots offers a closer look at the world Rockstar Games has spent years building, while new gameplay details explain what players can expect beyond the main story.

From extreme weather to wildlife and quieter activities, the latest information paints a broader picture of how much there could be to explore. With the November launch approaching, GTA 6 remains firmly among the top upcoming video game releases shaping gaming conversations.

Leonida comes alive

Game Informer has shared 12 new GTA 6 screenshots showing locations around Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. Several images focus on landscapes, while others show activities available to protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, including hiking and sunbathing.

Leonida itself is divided into six regions and is said to be twice the size of Los Santos. Players will also be able to spend time away from missions through activities such as billiards, mini-golf and visits to zoos.

Online reactions have quickly focused on the environmental detail, particularly the clouds, wilderness and bridges shown in the images. One crop-dusting scene has even reminded some fans of imagery used to promote GTA 5.

NPCs are another area receiving attention, with Game Informer describing an unprecedented degree of detail and nuance. Small player actions can also have significant consequences for the story, giving people a reason to play through the campaign more than once and potentially discover different outcomes.

Jason and Lucia escape

Fresh screenshots follow new artwork created specifically by Rockstar for Game Informer issue #382. Jason and Lucia are pictured sitting inside a hot-pink convertible after what appears to be a dangerous robbery, holding guns as bullet holes cover part of the vehicle. Unlike an image taken from existing footage, the artwork was made for the magazine and continues Rockstar’s history of creating custom pieces for gaming publications.

Fans have also noticed possible connections between the scene and artwork recently used for special-edition GTA 6 soundtrack vinyl releases. Issue #382 promises further information about Rockstar’s research into Miami and Florida, providing another glimpse into the game development behind Leonida.
