There are no official confirmations if global K-pop artists will attend and perform at the 2023 MTV VMAs, but there are certain guesses. On August 8, the popular Twitter X account @AboutMusicYT shared a list of all the possible attendees of the event. Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Latto, Dua Lipa, and three Korean artists also appeared on the list.

- BTS Jungkook is the most likely to attend the music festival. He recently set new records with his solo debut single, Seven (feat Latto), and also performed at the GMA. As Latto is one of the possible attendees, they can share a stage to perform the hit single.
- TXT will headline this year’s Lollapalooza following Stray Kids’ mesmerizing performance at the Paris event. This shows that both groups have made their names as some of the most popular K-pop boy groups in the US. This also gives a possibility for the 4th generation acts TXT and Stray Kids to join the 2023 MTV VMAs lineup.

- Apart from the performances, K-pop fans also await the list of nominees. BTS, BLACKPINK, and SEVENTEEN achieved many awards last year. TXT also has a long list of nominations, albeit never having attended the show.
