In the vast world of Elden Ring, Talismans are critical in shaping a player’s combat strategy and overall gaming experience. The latest DLC Shadow of the Erdtree introduces a plethora of new Talismans among which a few stand as game changers.
Sometimes you may require a crucial stamina boost while you are in a battle with a powerful boss. At these times, these Talismans will come in handy providing you with the required buff during the combat.
5 Talismans that will help you survive easily in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
1. Rellana’s Cameo
The talisman Rellana’s Cameo can be an essential addition to your build, enhancing your weapon skills like Wing Stance and Moon and Fire Stance. When paired with the Shard of Alexander, it can amplify your damage output significantly.
Head towards Castle Ensis and locate the NPC Moonrithyll. You will find the talisman lying behind the character.
You will get a boost in your weapon skills performed after holding your stance. A red glow will emerge from your character once you hold your stance for 2 seconds. However, this skill is ineffective during boss fights where you can seldom hold still.
2. Arrow’s Soaring Sting Talisman
The Arrow’s Soaring Sting talisman is crucial for archers as it can increase your arrow damage by 8% and increase the range as well. Although this talisman does not increase the range as much as the Arrow’s Reach Talisman, the mixture of damage and range boost makes it superior to most builds.
Reach the Fog Rift Fort and locate Black Knight Garrew. Pass through the gap in front of you and ascend the stairs to reach the cliff. Reach the tower’s peak and find the treasure chest, where you will find the Talisman.
The Talisman is a valuable addition to the bow builds and allows you to maintain a high damage output over a long distance. You may even combine it with the Arrow Sting Talisman providing you with an 18% increase in the bow damage.
3. Blade of Mercy
The Blade of Mercy talisman can enhance your attacking power by 20% for 20 seconds followed by a critical hit. The talisman is ideal for builds that perform frequent critical hits such as block counters or parry builds.
Go to the Scorched Ruins and open the chest near the first site of Grace to obtain the Blade of Mercy talisman.
Your attack power remains constantly high as you move from one enemy to the other. Although the talisman doesn’t affect headshots from the bow, you will mainly benefit if you have a melee weapon and have parry-centric playstyles.
4. Blessed Blue Dew Talisman
The Blessed Blue Dew talisman is similar to the Blessed Dew Talisman but recovers FP instead of HP. This item is effective for spellcasters who have FP-consuming abilities.
The talisman can be found by interacting with the statue of Marika in the Church of Benediction.
Carrying this talisman with you in combat scenarios will help you regenerate 1FP every 2 seconds. You can conserve the FP flasks and focus on the HP flasks in challenging battles. If you are exploring legacy dungeons or engaging in intense battles, this talisman will make sure that you have a steady supply of FP.
5. Crusade Insignia
The Crusade Insignia talisman can raise your attack power to 15% for 20 seconds once you defeat an enemy. Once you defeat an enemy your attack power refreshes thereby giving you continuous boosts and increasing your damage output.
To obtain this talisman, you need to defeat the Fire Knight Quine NPC, found in several locations including the Bellet Tower settlement.
This talisman is extremely versatile and benefits melee, ranged as well as caster builds. However, the Crusade Insignia may not be helpful while fighting with a boss, as you are not engaging with any other enemies. The stacking potential of this talisman makes it a powerhouse in crowd-controlling scenarios except the boss fight.
