The official gameplay demonstration of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom dropped yesterday and fans are going wild over it. With the game ready for release on May 16 this year, a reveal trailer came at the right time.
With the last game of the series, Breath of the Wild being a generational hit, fans are waiting for the eventual sequel. The sequel was announced last year during E3 and fans are looking to quench that thirst by relishing Tears of the Kingdom.
The reveal trailer got such a positive response from fans that praises started flying all over the internet. Keeping all that aside, we are sure that you have relished the video. However, here are five things you might have missed during the video.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay demonstration brings endless possibilities
The video showcases close to 14 minutes long media as the producer of The Legend of Zelda series, Eiji Aonuma greets the fans at the start. The gameplay reveal shows a plethora of new details that come unique to this game. Let us not waste any more time and get into what you might have missed.
Fuse
One of the most unique features of the tile, Fusion brings in a new horizon of possibilities in the series. This ability allows you to combine a variety of objects to make anything out of everything.
In the video, Link is seen using Fusion to create weapons and even vehicles out of nothing. Not sure if Zelda could get any better? Fret not, Nintendo looks to awe you with this addition alone.
Building vehicles
Fusion is definitely one of the most fascinating additions to the series. What adds to its grandeur is making vehicles from random objects using the Fusion ability. However, there is one factor to remember is that you need to use scientific methods to create these vehicles.
In this video, Link is seen creating a little raft using two fans and most of the other vehicles created will be available for you to make. This means that you need to keep on trying out different aspects in order to balance out your own vehicle.
Ascension improvised
If you played the older Zelda series games, you know that the engine literally breaks down measuring your climb of mountains depending on stamina. All that will come to an end with this game.
With the new Ascension ability, jumping has become easier than moving. And to add, you can do this without losing a shred of stamina, and you can even go through ceilings. According to the developers, as long as there is a ceiling, you can ascend using this ability.
Improved puzzles
Innovation has been a forte for the Zelda series over the years. And adding to the fact, puzzles have been added that require Fusion ability in this game. As shown and talked about in the reveal video, apparently, you can solve puzzles using the fusion ability in this game.
And the height of limitation is your imagination. There are multiple ways of solving the same puzzle using your abilities.
Endless possibilities
With the addition of several new abilities and new features in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there are endless possibilities to venture into. You can choose which vehicle to make, and how to make it. You can even choose to traverse a distance in many different ways too.
This opens up a brand new horizon of choices for players to make. Redefining how the Zelda series has been played this whole time.
