We know next to nothing about AoE 4 apart from the fact that the game will be exclusive on Windows 10. The game was announced back in Gamescom 2017, but we didn’t hear anything about it ever since. The last thing we know was Phil Spencer promising that we will hear more about the game later this year. It seems like it’s finally that time of the year.
It would be strange to see IV before III.
You forgot about Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. It would be strange to see IV before III. So they will either reveal both or only III, and then IV at X019 in November.
