Among Us: Upcoming Big Update All Details!

Among us is one such game that stands true to the phrase, “simplicity is the key”. When it comes to graphics and gameplay, it is no champion. But when it comes to winning the heart of the audiences, Among Us stands high in the list of best video games. It is available to play exclusively on Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices as of now. For fans of the game, we have some exciting news.

The Announcement

In an official tweet from InnerSloth, they announced that they are ongoing on a vacation and will be back with a big update. They went on to tell fans about the fate of the game release on Xbox and Play Station. Furthermore, in a humorous way they altered the name of their Twitter handle to “Among Us on vacation!! Don’t let me work!!”.

“Hey beans im on vacation this week!! This means less social media updates, but here’s an overview while im gone: – team is working on the next big update(!!) – no xbox/ps launch date yet – if u have game issues email support@innersloth(.)com – yell at me if I work this week pls”, read the tweet.

The Update

Among Us has always been slow on updates because InnerSloth is not a very big developer. But the game has seen such an immense surge in popularity, that there is no option but to keep catering to the needs of fans. The team is clearly working very hard to offer new content to keep current players invested and bring in new audiences. Among Us has always been a simple game but something about it keeps players invested.

In another tweet from the official account, a tiny peek at art for the next big update was shared. It showcased a little crewmate on something huge and yellow in color. Some believe it is a rock or a planet, while others think it is a huge chicken nugget or popcorn. What do you make out of it? The background can clearly be seen as being space, which is the basic setting of the game. So, one can’t derive anything from that.

One disappointing thing though, was that the announcement brought some bad news for a few gamers. People who have been waiting patiently for its arrival on Play Stations and Xbox will have to wait for more. All we know is that it was supposed to launch sometime this year on these consoles, but we don’t have any release date yet. Maybe it would happen only after the big update which has hyped the fans all around the internet.
