Artifact, Dota 2’s Own Card Game Releasing This November

Artifact - The Dota Card Game

After Hearthstone, Gwent, The Elder Scrolls: Legends and Chronicle: Runescape Legends, it’s time for us Dota 2 fans to witness our very own card game – Artifact. Valve announced its release date just today and we’re super excited to experience it on our very own.

The Steam description reads –

Artifact is a digital card game coming from the makers of Dota®2 and Steam®. A collaboration of legendary card game designer Richard Garfield and computer game and technology maker Valve (Dota 2, Steam), Artifact is designed to give Trading Card Game (TCG) enthusiasts the deepest gameplay and highest fidelity experience ever in a fantasy card game. It features more than 280 cards in the shipping set, including 44 heroes. Targeted for release on Steam in late 2018, players will be able to buy and sell cards on the Steam Community Marketplace. Artifact will also be supported as a service through expansions, competitive events, and new features.

Thanks to FTL Wykrhm Reddy, my discovery of Artifact’s announcement was possible. Artifact is releasing on Steam, Linux and Mac on 28th November of this year. The game will be priced at $20. Additionally, PAX West 2018 attendees will have the privilege to get their hands first on the game between Aug 31 – Sep 3, 2018.

Make sure you subscribe to our push-notifications and never miss an update on Artifact. Until next time, Happy Gaming!
