Dota 2 fans will experience the first public showing of Valve’s new card game – Artifact at Pax West this year. The game combines Dota 2 elements, three lanes and a bunch of new cards we’re still unfamiliar with.
As described in Artifact’s official updated website, “Players will battle each other in a continuous, single-elimination gauntlet for the right to challenge a champion on the main stage. Win or lose, everyone who plays at PAX will earn Artifact merchandise, including signed prints of artwork and two keys for free copies of the game when it is released.”
It’s funny how Valve is giving away “two” free keys as we all know Valve’s numerical knowledge and how it never goes beyond that number.
Attendees will be presented with four pre-built decks at the event, randomly assigned. Here’s some deck information –
Detailed card information can be found on Artifact’s official website.
