Bethesda May Work on Rage And The Evil Within Sequels Next

“I do think both The Evil Within and Rage did well enough that we could make sequels”, – Bethesda VP, Pete Hines.

Bethesda Vice-President Pete Hines has spoken about the possibility of sequels for Rage and The Evil Within.

Earlier in June, Bethesda also confirmed about 2 big games that will be as big as Fallout and Skyrim. “The studio has two major projects, two major games that they are planning on doing before they get to an Elder Scrolls 6”, said Peter Hines in an interview with IGN.

Rage was developed by id Software in 2011 and The Evil Within by Tango Gameworks in 2014. Both games did well and got positive response from the gaming community. Bethesda being the publisher for both the games was happy with their success in the market.

In an interview with Finder, Hines said, “I can’t talk about the unannounced stuff and what we may or may not do. So I won’t confirm or deny stuff we may or may not do, as people jump to the wrong conclusions. But I do think both The Evil Within and Rage did well enough that we could make sequels.”

Hines added by saying, “Personally I loved Rage and had a tonne of fun playing it, but we have a lot of stuff in the pipeline right now so you will have to wait and see.”

It is not confirmed if Bethesda will really work on the sequels for Rage and The Evil Within or not, but I am super excited to try them out if they do so. Till then, keep in touch with Spiel Times for more gaming, technology and esports related information, news and stuff.

  1. How about making sure you have a game that “supports” all capable systems in regards to hardware…… AND……have a game “engine” that runs….. I mean actually doesn’t suck because that is what “Killed” the game for me.
