BTS Jungkook opens a solo TikTok account; Is it real? | ARMYs React

BTS Jungkook is flying solo on the controversial app TikTok, but how true is the rumor? Following years of using a common social media account to connect with their fans, the BTS members opened their personal Instagram accounts in 2021. The members are also releasing chart-bursting solos like SUGA’s D-DAY, Jimin’s FACE, and Jungkook’s Seven, so a solo TikTok account doesn’t seem out of order, but ARMYs have some doubts.

A few days back ARMYs noticed an account named @jung.kookieofficial being recommended to them on TikTok. The account not only posted Seven dance practice videos and snippets of the music video featuring Han So Hee but also owned the emblem of verification. This made ARMYs wonder if it was BTS Jungkook behind that account.

• However, there was an air of skepticism around the mysterious account. Jungkook previously owned a personal Instagram account with the iconic name @abcdefghi__lmnopqrstuvwxyz, which he later changed to @jungkook.97 before deleting the app altogether. Since the account deletion, he has been using Weverse to interact with his fans and has frequently gone viral with his chaotic livestreams.

• Many ARMYs were suspicious of the TikTok account named @jung.kookieofficial. It seemed unlikely that Jungkook would pick that username after his famous Instagram handles. Following this, fans noticed that neither BTS nor BIGHIT MUSIC’s official accounts followed this newly-surfaced TikTok account.
• Furthermore, fans discovered that the videos on the account weren’t original content. All of the videos were previous uploads of the official BTS TikTok account or YouTube channel. The verification symbol also no longer appears on the account, making it evident that either the TikTok account is a fan page or an attempt at identity theft.

Will Jungkook appear on SUGA’s Suchwita?

Following the grand release of solo single, Seven (feat Latto) on July 14 and its debut stage on Good Morning America’s summer concert series, BIGHIT unveiled the making of the popular music video. In the clip, Jungkook praises the Nevertheless famed actress Han So Hee and teases his appearance on Suchwita.

• The recently released trailer for the next episode of Suchwita also didn’t reveal the upcoming guest. In the behind-the-scenes video, Jungkook jokingly mentioned that SUGA looks awakened at acting, and he would say this to him on Suchwita. This appearance excited his fans as SUGA has mentioned his dear member so often that it almost doesn’t feel like his first appearance.

• ARMYs are especially expecting to get some spoilers about Jungkook’s upcoming solo debut album. There are some rumors that it will feature all English language tracks. There are also claims that BIGHIT Music’s chairman Bang Si-hyuk is allegedly working along with HYBE America’s CEO, Scooter Braun, to make this album one of a kind.
