Chernobylite: PS5, Xbox Series X/S Versions Coming April 21st
Developed by The Farm 51 and published by All In! Games, Chernobylite will be out for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 21. Last year, this game made its way to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via an early access program that was only available on desktops.
Next-Gen Consoles
New graphics and performance enhancements are coming to Chernobylite for next-generation platforms and the Enhanced Edition for PC. Additionally, two graphics modes (dynamic 4K resolution and 30 fps, and 1080p at 60 fps) will be launched. On PS5, the haptic features of the DualSense, such as vibration and adaptive triggers, will be utilized, as well as compatibility with memory cards.
“The next-gen release is the natural next step that fans of the game have been eagerly awaiting. We’re proud to say that it will be the biggest visual revamp of the game so far and that due to the simultaneous release of the PC Enhanced Edition, players across all platforms will undoubtedly benefit.”

“Blue Flames,” the first of four planned extra content releases for 2022, can be downloaded across all platforms. “Memories of You” (new events and items to discover about Tatyana’s and Igor’s background) and a paid content return are also included in the free content update.
It’s hard to call Chernobylite a flawless game, but as a whole, it’s a highly fascinating one, with an intriguing tale for science fiction fans and gameplay mechanics that will keep us glued to our screens for hours.

Since March 2021, I've worn two hats at Spiel Times: a writer and a Managing Editor. In my writing role, I've earned recognition from Wikipedia and Nev Schulman (Catfish TV Show host) for my insightful analysis and engaging narrative style. I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team. I communicate openly with my team members, addressing any content-related issues and providing guidance to help them excel.
