Crytek Returns! Crysis 4 Officially Announced

BY JC Paredes 4 years AGO 2 MIN READ

Crytek has just released a promo trailer for the next Crysis edition, which will be called Crysis 4. Some speculated that when Crysis Remastered Trilogy launched in October last year, the series might return, and now Crysis 4 has officially been confirmed as a reality. CryEngine, the graphics engine of these games, stands out because of its technological strength; even if it hasn’t been extensively embraced by the industry like Unreal Engine or Unity.

Other than the fact that it will undoubtedly be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S at the very least, we have no idea what else is in store. If they do decide to ignore the previous generation entirely we will have to wait. We’ve just heard that it’s still in the early stages of development. We’ll have to sit tight for it to be presented.

As far as Crysis 4 was concerned, there had been no leaks or speculations, but the potential of an all-out battle royale in the Crysis world had been floated because of the hype surrounding these titles and Ryse 2, the multiplatform sequel to Ryse: Son of Rome.

Since the debut of Crysis 3 in 2013, the series has been quiet until the current remasters, which improved resolution, introduced ray-tracing effects, and made various lighting modifications.

  • Even if you’ve never played a Crytek game before, these editions are far superior to the console versions. It justifies a second purchase for fans of the series or those who have been intrigued about Crytek’s titles.
  • Action and stealth are seamlessly intertwined in this story owing to a nanosuit that provides players with superhuman strength, speed, and optical concealment.

I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team.
