Riot Games recently unveiled their Black Market Market skinline for Valorant which closely resembles Valve’s CSGO gun models. This will mark the arrival of the third skinline in Episode 6 Act 2 and is facing some controversy.
The skin collection will be featuring unique weapon skins that adapt based on the side players are on. For instance, if a player is on the attack side, then they will get one variant of the weapons, while on defense it would be unique again.
However, Riot’s concept is fairly similar to CSGO which makes it quite controversial before Counter-Strike 2 launch. Twitter has been bombarded after this reveal and we will be looking at how everyone is reacting to it.
Valorant receives heavy backlash from fans after Black Market skin collection reveal
Ever since the release of Valorant back in 2020, many gamers felt that it awfully felt familiar to CSGO with some extra added feature. However, that soon changed as the game evolved with the addition of new things every now and then. Thus, the same debate has again risen for Valorant with the release of the Black Market skin collection.

Some fans have also sarcastically said that the skin line literally makes the game feel like CSGO, while in reality, they are different. However at the moment, many seem to believe that Riot released this collection to compete against Counter-Strike 2. Nonetheless, the skin line does look great and many CSGO fans are appreciating the release of this collection.
