Cyberpunk 2077 Creative Director Leaves CDPR To Join Blizzard
Cyberpunk 2077 Creative Director Sebastian Stępień has left CD Projekt Red to join Blizzard starting this year. The personality has previously worked for CDPR’s famous Witcher titles including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
The minute information is publicly accessible on Sebastian’s LinkedIn profile which was first spotted by ResetEra user Gerwant. His LinkedIn profile mentions him working only for CD Projekt Red before joining Blizzard.
A creative director leaving an in-development game is somewhat strange. Could this mean Cyberpunk 2077 is in its final stages of development? Or most probably the story and narrative aspects of the game have been finalised. We’ll never know.
We’ll reach out to Sebastian to comment on his sudden farewell from CD Projekt Red and his plans for the future.
