After you finish the stage with the flying bicycle, you find yourself on a new island. An unknown character takes Birly while you hang upside down after activating a trap. Here’s our guide for Daydream: Forgotten Sorrow’s Chapter 6 – The Carnival.

Keep going forward until you find that glowing spot on the ground. This will help you boost your jump to reach the next area. Grab the rope attached to the floating rock and point the red plant toward the ledge you will use to get up. Next, grab that piece of glowing stone and place it on the center console. Drag the floating rock again so you can cross the newly opened area.
Who is she?
- You’ll come across a new character that will help you in your new adventure. You notice that this new character helped Birly and is now showing you how you’ll be able to activate the train to move on to your new destination.
- In this game stage, you must leave Birly and take your new friend as a companion to help you solve the next set of puzzles.
Shattered Gem Achievement
Before you proceed, take your new companion back to the western part of the map. Command her to shoot at the power source. Grab the cube and place it onto the train console for an achievement.
- After you finish getting the achievement, head over to your right and to the big gate. You’ll notice targets along the way, which you can command her to shoot to help in your puzzles.
- A tip, whenever you see one of those consoles, make sure to command your companion to shoot one of those crystal forms on the walls. This will cause it to shatter, and you can take a cube piece out and use it to activate the consoles.
After crossing the platform, you’ll find yourself on the other side with a set of puzzles.
- Push the box with the plant on the other side. It covers a target that your companion can shoot at.
- Make sure to command her to shoot once the box is on the edge, and quickly make your way to the top of the platform before the hammer drops.
- Next, shoot the target so the flying wooden platform gets near you. Jump on it and hit the next mark so the rope swings on your side.
- Grab the rope and then reshoot the target so you cross the other side. Go up the two ledges and reshoot the target so the ladder is on your side. Jump and head up to the next stage of the puzzle.
Timing is Everything: Seesaw Puzzle Guide
- The next stage requires timing. Shoot the platform first so that it goes to the other side. Once it’s there, shoot it again so it goes back to the other side, but make sure you jump on time to use it to cross. The next platform mini-puzzle is self-explanatory.
- You’ll see a short train track with a seesaw puzzle in this area. The trick here is putting your weight long enough to jump to the other platform.
- Make sure you jump on top of the second star and use it as a step to help you jump across the next area. The next steel platform requires good timing once again.
Ferris Wheel and Man-eating plants!
- You’ll have to grab the rope and up the Ferris wheel in this puzzle sequence. The catch here is that you must time commanding your companion to shoot the target so that you face the other way when you move past the plants.
- The most effective way I found that works for me are shooting the target as soon as your character parallels the plant.
- After passing the two plants, jump down, use the pathway to cross, and then jump again to grab the rope. Make sure you don’t stand on them too long because they will collapse after a second or two.
