Destiny 2 Heir Apparent Removed – Reason and When Is It Coming Back?
The Destiny 2 Update 3.0.0.2 is here and it seems like Bunge has removed Heir Apparent from the Monument to Lost Lights. Many are upset regarding this and Bungie has officially replied as to why they removed it. Here’s everything you need to know about Destiny 2’s Heir Apparent, why it was removed and when is it coming back.
Why Was Heir Apparent Removed from Destiny 2?
After a flood of questions across discussion boards, Bungie decided to clarify as to why it was removed. According to Bungie, “Heir Apparent was not intended to be available through the kiosk.”
A Reddit user responded, “They just straight up are just withholding old content now to release it later as new event content.”
The reply from Bungie currently has -739 points.
When Will Heir Apparent Be Back?
Heir Apparent should return to a future event. Bungie says, “Current plan is to have this exotic available during a future event for players to earn. Stay tuned for announcements of availability.”
People are predicting it should be back with Guardian Games.
Another Reddit user writes, “This is not a great move in my opinion. Exotics should not be treated like an event only thing and there’s already an issue with shallow loot pools. I know it’s not your call, but please let the team know.”
We’ll keep you in the loop and let you know when Heir Apparent returns to Destiny 2.
