A new feature in Diablo Immortal called Skill Stones is quite confusing to understand at first. In this guide, we will be walking you through what Skill Stones are, how to get them, and how to use them in Diablo Immortal.
What are Skill Stones in Diablo Immortal?
Diablo Immortal introduces a new concept to both returning and new players to the game. Skill Stones are items that let players assign an effect to a Charm or transfer effects between them. But before players can get their hands on Skill Stones, they first need to obtain Charms in Diablo Immortal.
How to get Charms
To get Charms, it is recommended that players participate in Bounties. If they complete a Bounty, they can obtain Charms as rewards. On the other hand, players also have the option to buy Charms if they have extra Hilts to spare. To buy Charms, look for the Hilt Trader in Westmarch. There, players can purchase a Charm for 100 Hilts per piece.
After obtaining the Charms, players need to increase the level of the Charms they wish to use. But before anything else, you should ensure that you have Alchemical Powder since these are used to upgrade a Charm. If you don’t have any Alchemical Powder, they can be obtained by salvaging other Charms you won’t be using.
Finally, make your way to the Charm Craftsman to upgrade whichever Charm you want.

How to get and use Skill Stones
After maxing out the level of your Charm, go to the Charm Craftsman again. Then, select the option to ‘Extract’. Keep in mind that for you to extract a Charm, you need 500 Platinum. Once you extract a Charm, you will successfully create and obtain a Skill Stone.
When you finally have a Skill Stone in your inventory, you can use the ‘Imbue’ option at the Charm Craftsman. When you choose the ‘Imbue’ option, you now have the ability to use another Charm whose level is maxed out. Then, you can select which skill bonus from the maxed-out Charm you want to replace with another skill bonus from your Skill Stone.
When you’re at this point in using your Charms and Skill Stones, make sure you say a little prayer to the RNG (Random Number Generator) gods first. This is because whatever skill bonus you want to be imbued in the Charm will be random. So if you want a specific skill bonus applied to the Charm, don’t get your hopes up too much: you only have a 20 percent chance of getting that.
