Hey, players! Have you been playing Digimon Survive for a while, and you’re quite stuck? Well, you might need an easy guide to help you get past Fangmon, we’ll lend you a hand. Stick with us until the end to know how!
Digimon Survive is a survival game that was released just July 29th. Bandai Namco Entertainment and Hyde work together to complete this tactical role-playing game. It revolves around a group of students who lost their way and end up in an alternate universe or dimension. This is a single-player game (if you’re having a hard time), so we’re here to walk you through beating Fangmon!
Beating Fangmon in Digimon Survive
Fangmon is Digimon Survive‘s second-story boss in the game. It is a red wolf with a long muzzle and you can encounter it when you reach the end of Part 2.
- Firstly, you have to choose the best Digimon to pass this boss fight. So, you might as well choose Labramon as it evolves during the fight (this is part of the story, by the way). You may want to brace yourself as this is a tougher challenge for you.
- Additionally, Labramon‘s evolution to Dobermon is most helpful for you to defeat Fangmon. You may want to be mindful of the position you are in, as Digimon Fangmon stands at the opposite end of your Digimon.
- However, you should be careful of its squad (minions, actually) as they might attack you from the back! Be sure to check your back and front as the position your Digimon is at is apparently sandwiched between two enemy forces.

- Evolving all your Digimon would make it easier for you to battle in this boss fight. Agumon‘s availability for evolving is handy for you too, so be sure to do its Digivolution!
- If you can, and if you want to, you can tackle the minor opponents first. Also, keep Digimon/s at your back to counter any back attack attempts, especially from boss minions.
You may be overwhelmed when Fangmon’s attack reaches you, as it can damage up to 500. Non-evolved Digimons easily would faint when attacked, but luckily if you have evolved Digimons, they can bear the huge hit. Players may want to try to counter the Fangmon through a back attack with your strongest Digimon as that would damage a lot too.

More about Digimon Survive
You may want to read here as we briefly explain Fangmon’s statistics. It is resistant to psychic damage but incredibly weak to electrical damage, so may want to start the battle with a Digimon that can throw electrical damage. Well, Betamon can use electrical power against Fangmon so use this Digimon!
These are just a few tips you can use in your battle with Fangmon. As the fight concludes, you successfully finish Part 2 of Digimon Survive.
