Dr Disrespect, a popular YouTube Gaming streamer founded his own game development studio called Midnight Society. Just a few months after it first launched in December, Dr Disrespect and his studio are set to release their very own gaming NFTs on the Polygon blockchain. Each NFT costs $50. However, there will only be 10,000 “Founders Access” available for purchase.
What are NFTs?
NFT is short for Non-Fungible Token. These are unique tokens that are found on a blockchain like Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric. Moreover, NFTs establish ownership over a digital or physical asset to a holder.
Because Dr Disrespect and his studio released NFTs connected to the studio’s first game, these NFTs represent in-game items like weapons or character customization items.

Dr Disrespect’s gaming NFTs cost $50 each
Although the NFT is a bit pricey, Midnight Society clarified on their website that these Founders Pass NFTs won’t provide players with pay-to-win benefits. Thus, fairness between players in the game is upheld. But in return, those who availed Dr Disrespect’s gaming NFTs have access to exclusive perks.
Among these perks are early access to content, an exclusive profile picture, and events access. Additionally, Founders Pass holders have the right to vote on gaming features that Midnight Society will take into consideration for future projects.
Midnight Society’s first project is called Project Moon and Dr Disrespect has a reputable team developing it with him. Joining him at Midnight Society is Robert Bowling and Quinn DelHoyo who formerly worked at Call of Duty and Halo, respectively.
