It looks like the official launch date for Dying Light 2 has leaked ahead of the event that is intended to unveil additional specifics about the title.

Release Date
UPDATE: CONFIRMED
Late Wednesday night, s user named Okami shared a snapshot of an official listing for the game on an Italian webpage. Leaks reveal that Dying Light 2 will launch on the 7th of December 2021.
The issue at hand now is if this is an exact date or just a prediction as to when the game will be released. Given Techland’s event, it appears that the topic will be addressed.

The latest release will not be a continuation in the sense that it will not continue the tale of Kyle Crane, the GRE agent. This game’s location is also separate from Harran in the original.
Dying Light 2
Dying Light 2 is set in an unknown city in Europe. The fact that the story is set in a different area with a new protagonist, Aiden Caldwell, suggests that efforts to contain the infection in Harran were unsuccessful.
The game is also set15 years down the line. It’s unclear whether a zombie invasion has been endangering the world for that long, or whether this European city is the epicenter of some other zombie infestation.
Caldwell will try to discover a cure that will finally put an end to the global catastrophe. Techland’s Thursday exhibition is expected to reveal more information, including a possible release date affirmation.
