Elden Ring PS5 Server Status
As of June 20, 2024, the Elden Ring PS5 servers just wrapped up a maintenance break to get everything prepped and ready for the epic Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
They went offline at midnight Pacific Time and were back up and running by 3 AM PT. So if you’re reading this after that, you should be good to go! But hey, it’s always a good idea to double-check the official Elden Ring social media or forums just to be safe.

Recent Server Hiccups
The June 20 maintenance was all planned out, so we knew what to expect. But let’s be real, Elden Ring has had its fair share of surprise downtime in the past. Sometimes it’s because too many people are trying to play at once, other times it’s technical gremlins messing things up, or maybe they’re just pushing out updates. These unplanned outages can be a real bummer, but usually, the devs are on top of it and get things back up and running pretty quickly.
So, how can you stay ahead of the curve and avoid getting caught off guard by server downtime? Here are a few tricks:
- Keep tabs on @ELDENRING for any official announcements about maintenance or outages. They’ll usually give you a heads-up.
- Hop on over to places like Reddit’s r/EldenRing. Your fellow Tarnished are usually quick to share updates and troubleshooting tips.
- Sites like IsDown are super handy for real-time info on server outages for all sorts of games, including Elden Ring.
Look, server downtime is just a fact of life for online games, but it doesn’t have to be a total buzzkill. Here are a few ideas to keep you entertained while you wait:
- Elden Ring has an awesome single-player mode. Use this downtime to explore every nook and cranny, take on those bosses that have been giving you trouble, or try out different character builds.
- Jump into online forums and social media groups to chat with other players, share strategies, and make some new Tarnished buddies.
- If you’re itching for some online action, maybe try out a different game while you wait for Elden Ring to come back online.
