Elden Ring PS5, Xbox and PC Performance Revealed
Updates and information about Elden Ring are pouring in from all sides as its nearing its slated release date. As you may well know by now, Elden Ring is all set to release on January 21, 2022. A few days ago its different editions and prices were revealed and now we have some major information about how it performs on various consoles. Obviously, performance is an integral part of any video game, and here is all we know about it.
PC

Elden Ring is supposed to be a visual-heavy game that players will like to experience in the best resolution possible. Obviously, to support such resolution and run the game on those numbers, you’ll need a powerful and capable machine.
While talking about PC, Elden Ring will support a maximum resolution of up to 3840x2160p and a framerate of up to 60 FPS. It will also have support for HDR and ray tracing, with the latter supported after a requisite patch. Being an AAA title these specs are something which we not only expect but are pretty standard. So, for PC players it could boost an immersive and magnificent gaming experience.
PS4 / PS4 Pro / PS5
For the Sony console gaming fans as well, Elden Ring won’t disappoint as it sports impressive specs around all three consoles. As for resolution, PS4 will support a maximum resolution of 1920x1080p, and PS4 Pro will feature a resolution of up to 3200x1800p. Lastly, PS5 will provide you with a top-notch 4K resolution up to 3840x2160p.
Talking about framerates, PS4 and PS4 Pro will provide up to 30 FPS whereas PS5 will provide you up to a mammoth 60 FPS. PS5 will also support raytracing via patch, whereas the two older consoles will not. So, as far as PlayStation is concerned, we would highly recommend you to play it on PS5 to gain an optimum gaming experience.
Xbox One / Xbox X/S
The resolution chart for Xbox consoles also varies a lot with Xbox One featuring just a 1600x900p non-HD resolution. Xbox One X and Xbox Series X will feature a 4k resolution up to 3840x2160p, whereas Xbox Series S will support up to 2560x1440p.
As for framerates, Xbox One and Xbox One X, will support up to 30 FPS, whereas Xbox Series X/S will provide up to 60 FPS. Also, Xbox Series X will support raytracing via a patch which other Xbox consoles won’t. That aside, Elden Ring’s specs on Xbox allow for complete, back-and-forth “cross-generation compatibility”, unlike PlayStation.
