Epic Games Store Unveils 2 Free Games Offered Weekly Until August 9
Since December, the Epic Games Store regularly offers games to its members. Originally, it was a bi-weekly offer to get a new game every two weeks. In early June, the offer was evolving to offer players a new game every week, thus raising the loot to four free games per month. But this week, the formula changes again and there is something to celebrate. It will not be one but rather two games that will be offered each week, until August 9.
Moonlighter and This War of Mine have been selected. The first is an independent action-RPG game developed by Digital Sun and released May 19, 2018, in which the player embodies Will, an adventurer merchant who finds himself traveling between different kingdoms and different dimensions after the discovery of mysterious doors during an excavation. The second is a survival game developed by 11-Bit Studios and released on November 14, 2014, in which the player leads a group of civilians trying to survive in war. Maintaining your shelter and finding resources will be your only concern, from day and night. Moonlighter and This War of Mine are available for download now until August 2nd.
On the other hand, hang in there, because next week, the Epic Games Store will release the heavy artillery. While we are more used to receiving independent games or relatively unknown to the general public, the platform offers to start the month of August in the most beautiful ways by downloading For Honor and Alan Wake for free. The first one, developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Blue Byte was released on February 14, 2017. This is a beat’em all fighting game, playable solo as well as multiplayer. The second, developed by Remedy Entertainment and released on May 14, 2010, is a survival horror action-adventure game in which we play Alan Wake, a writer who finds himself immersed in a universe straight out of a horror thriller. For Honor and Alan Wake will be available between August 2nd and 9th.
To download them, all you need is an Epic Games Store account and go to the website (at this address) or the application, in the “Get a free game every week” tab at the top of the page.
