Fact Check: Has Cyberpunk 2077 Been Delayed Indefinitely?
Almost six hours ago, Cyberpunk 2077 shared another image addressing an indefinite delay for the game. This comes after the company reconfirmed the December 10 release date. So, is the news true.
The sweet and short answer is NO. That’s fake news. Cyberpunk 2077 has not been delayed indefinitely.
At least, till now.
UPDATE: Twitter suspended the fake account.
The image that’s circulating online comes from an unofficial Cyberpunk 2077 account. The owner of the account has done a great job at faking the statement picture, the username, and the profile picture.
It’s a fake account with a symbol that many could mistake for the “Verified” symbol. The news, however, is fake.
Here’s what the fake Twitter profile shared –

Now many would find this a terrible joke well done, but the masses might get confused with this. Hence, we’re stating the obvious, once again, it’s fake.
At the time of writing this, the picture has 11.2K likes and 2.2K retweets, meaning this is being shared massively. So, check your facts and wait for December.
