Giants Software caused a stir at the beginning of the year, when the Zurich-based developer studio announced its own eSports competition. The Farming Simulator League (FSL) will start this month for their Farming Simulator 19 game.
Now Giants Software announced that it had won a major sponsor for the venture: Corteva Agriscience. In return, seeds, herbicides, and other chemical company products are added to the game for our enjoyment.
The first tournament of the Farming Simulator League (FSL) will be held at the FarmCon 19 on 27 and 28 July in Germany. This will be followed by 14 tournaments throughout Europe and online. In total 275,000 francs in prize money will be distributed over the good one-year history of the league.
This is a first for farming games, what do you think?
