FIFA 20’s New Ball Physics Will Be More Realistic

Like every chapter, FIFA 20 aims to improve the various game features. An example is the physics of the ball. An aspect that the community always would have like perfected in gameplay.

The new physics of the FIFA 20 ball influences the gameplay in such a way as to change the way the ball reacts to players, kicks, and objects, including the terrain. This new feature will ensure that you can give different rotations to passages, blocks, and shots. The two mechanics behind the new physics are called “Football-Informed Motion” and “New Shot Trajectories”. You can see them in the video below.

The first, “Football Informed Motion” will apply a more realistic movement to the ball, including rotations and more authentic bounces. It is possible that with FIFA 20, players will have to adapt to a new feeling of passages and shots, which can take various trajectories, perfect for deciding which strategy to attack the opponents with. Then there will be different types of balls that will have unique physics. For example, in TIME there will be a different type of ball (on which we will discover more details later).

Please note that FIFA 20 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on September 27th. Tell us, what do you think of the video shared by EA?
