What are Cursed Llamas in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3?
The cursed llamas are no ordinary loot llamas. Breaking one open won’t just give you the usual assortment of weapons and healing items. Instead, they contain two unique cursed techniques that harness supernatural energy:
- The Straw Doll Technique
- The Hollow Purple Technique
These abilities don’t take up inventory slots. Once acquired, players can use them anytime during a match. Cursed llamas are the only way to get these techniques on the island. Believe us when we say that you have to try these out!
The Straw Doll Technique
The Straw Doll Technique is a swift hammer combo that launches nails filled with cursed energy. This allows you to damage and disrupt enemies from a short distance.

This cursed technique is great for pressuring foes or finishing off low-health targets trying to flee. It provides a new offensive option and can quickly change the tide of battle.
Erase Buildings with Hollow Purple Technique
- Hollow Purple is a devastating cursed technique that disintegrates buildings and damages players caught in its area of effect. Activating it sends out a large projectile that passes through structures, leaving nothing but empty space behind.

- This can destroy enemy fortifications in an instant, forcing them out into the open. It will also blast through your own builds, so be careful where you aim it.
- Hollow Purple is extremely useful for storming entrenched foes or escaping when surrounded. Just point and delete a quick path to freedom.

You can complete Break the Curse! Quests to earn Cursed Energy, which unlocks cosmetic and level-up rewards. These quests involve battling on the island and gaining XP in creative modes. Check the Break the Curse! tab to track Cursed Energy and remaining rewards.
There is a free reward track and a paid Premium Track.
- The free track has 11 rewards like the Shadow Play: Toad Emote.
- The Premium Track costs 1,000 V-Bucks and automatically unlocks the Streetwear Yuji Itadori Outfit. It contains 11 rewards, including the Yuji Itadori Outfit in his Jujutsu High uniform.
- By finishing Break the Curse! Quests and earning Cursed Energy, you can claim free and premium cosmetics and items without having to complete additional challenges.
