Fortnite’s latest challenge requires players to collect an access card from an IO Guard. In Chapter 2 Season 7, there have been many challenges, and this might be one of the last ones before Season 8 is announced. It sounds simple enough as all you have to do is locate a guard and collect an access pass, but it is proving to be a little tricky for some players. Well, don’t worry as we are here to make life easier for you.
Here’s How It’s Done
To find the IO Guard locations and get the access cards from them, follow what’s mentioned below:
- Find IO Guards located near the satellite station across the Fortnite map or under Corny Complex
- To reach the Corny Complex, take the stairs found in the barn. It will provide you a direct entrance
- Once you find an IO guard, kill him!
- When they are dead, they will drop the access card for you to pick up
- Once you collect the card, the challenge is completed
That’s it! That’s literally all you must do. When you complete the challenge, you are rewarded 45,000 XP, which will help get Battle Stars and get through the Battle Pass. Also, you’ll advance to the next Legendary Challenge for Week 8: planting wiretaps at different key locations. It is as simple as it gets but you do need to remember a few things.
Some Important Guidelines
- The challenge doesn’t have Party Assist, so if you are playing with friends, each one of you will have to collect your own individual access card.
- Make sure to head to an IO Guard location away from the Battle Bus’s path for best results
- These access cards are trending a lot right now in Fortnite and IO Guards are being hunted heavily for them. So, you might find a lot of other players heading there too.
- If you want a stealthy approach to find a guard, use the secret entrance via the porta-potties inside the farmhouse.
