Fortnite: Shang-Chi Skin, All Details

A new character joins Fortnite as a part of the collaboration between Fortnite and Marvel. Fortnite has a new cosmetic inspired by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The skin is available in the Item Shop and has arrived in time to promote the character’s feature film that is arrived in theatres on the 3^rd of September.

• The cosmetic includes the Shang-Chi skin along with the Great Protector’s Shield back bling, Blades of the Brother hand pickaxes, and Dragon’s Scale wrap.
• The cosmetic bundle will be available for 1800 V-bucks. The cost of just the skin of Shang-Chi will cost players about 1500 V-bucks.
• While the skins are sometimes based closer to the comic style or are new iterations of the character, the Shang-Chi skin has been picked up from the movie itself.

DC and Marvel Universe

The collaboration is not a surprise. New DC or Marvel releases have been synonymous with a new cosmetic release in Fortnite. Marvel characters such as Thor, Groot, Iron Man, Wolverine, Doctor Doom, and Mystique have already appeared in Fortnite. Fortnite also hosted an all-Marvel Season 4; with the whole of the battle pass made up of Marvel characters and cosmetics.

The CCO of Epic Games, Donald Mustard, had stated that those crossovers were just the beginning. He added that it was just the tip of the iceberg between Marvel and Epic. He said that “This is the start of lots of stuff we have planned for many years in this Marvel integration. Like, this is not the end. This is the beginning.” We can expect much more comic cosmetics in Fortnite, which is good for players who are comic fans as well.
