According to a tweet from well-known Fortnite leaker HYPEX, Epic Games has reportedly begun developing a first-person camera mode.
- Additional files were discovered that strongly suggest a first-person perspective for the Chapter 4 map.
- So it is possible that we will have the first-person function as early as Season 2 releases.
2. Skateboarding
The OG Fortnite players must remember the hoverboards you could use to get across the map in Chapter 1. Even though the hoverboards are not returning, something similar to a skateboard might be introduced.
The leaks again come from HYPEX and say that Epic is in the early stages of creating a new skating function. It can be the same as the slide mechanic that already exists in the game.

A few days ago, leaks began to flow through notable Fortnite leakers like Shiina tweeting that this season will introduce a new cyberpunk theme. And Eren Yeager from AoT will also feature as the battle pass bonus skin.
- On top of that, rumors going around that a new mythic mobility device called the “waist grappler,” themed after the anime series, will be added to the game.
- It will work similarly to the Spider-Man hands or Grappler.
