Nilou is a star of Zubayr Theatre in Sumeru who has accompanied travelers on various occasion during the Sumeru quest line. She has a unique character design that has captured her fan’s attention. She is a strong character in the game that provides unique interaction with the Dendro cores to create massive bloom damage.
For a F2P player choosing a character to spend the hard-earned Primogems on can be extremely tricky. There is no doubt that Nillou is a tough choice given her niche compositions. However, she offers more than what meets the eye and the article will expand more on why she is worth pulling for in Genshin Impact 3.6.
1) Easy to build
Nilou is an easy-to-build 5-star character in the game. As a F2P, one can dish out serious damage in her dedicated party composition. There are indeed a handful of teams that truly unleash her potential. However, that does not stop her from being the best Bloom enabler in the game.
As mentioned earlier, Nilou is an HP scaling character in Genshin Impact. Her second passive talent increases her ‘Bountiful Cores’ damage can be increased by 400% for every 1,0000 HP point above 30,000. Thus, players can easily build her with HP% substat to deal consistent AoE damage.
2) Simple character-kit
Nilou’s character kit is as simple as it gets. Her Elemental Skill which is called the ‘Dance of Haftkarsvar’ has three stances with each of them providing Hydro application. The last step in particular creates a Tranquility Aura that moves with the active character.
Her Ultimate Ability on the other hand deals AoE Hydro damage and triggers a Lingering Aoen effect on the enemies. After a short delay, the opponent under the effect takes additional Hydro DMG. Players will find her easy to use with the option to run her in a dedicated team or have fun as a Nuker for damage showcase.
3) Unique Playstyle
One of the selling points for Nilou in Genshin Impact is her unique playstyle. She is not a typical Hydro unit with the sole purpose of applying the element on the enemy. Rather, her elemental skill combined with Dendro creates a unique interaction. Instead of Dendro cores, she creates Bountiful Cores that provide increased splash damage.
She is a unique character in the game who has single-handedly elevated Bloom reaction in game. She can either be an on-field character or a Sub DPS, depending on the rotation and team composition.
4) Flexible element
Nilou is a Hydro vision holder in Genshin Impact. It is regarded as one of the most useful elements in the game. In absence of another Hydro unit in an account, pulling for her can be a wise decision.
She has a consistent elemental application which is a desired characteristic in the game. It suffices her to be in a dedicated ‘Super Bloom team’. Additionally, players can also use her for reactions such as Vaporize, Freeze, and Taser compositions.
5) Visuals and animation

Not every character in Genshin Impact is equally appealing. When it comes to appearance, some units particularly stand out more than others. Nilou is a proper example of those characters that captivate their fans with elegant in-game visuals.
Whoever designed Nilou’s animation reflected on her profession as a dancer. Her Elemental Skill is a visual treat with smooth dance animations. She is worth all the wishes, especially for players who choose appearance over meta.
