Recent Genshin Impact leaks suggest that a fan favorite is returning to the game’s main storyline soon. Scaramouche, No. 6 of the Eleven Harbingers of the Tsaritsa, may appear in a future patch. But unlike his other appearances, Scaramouche may become playable and even a weekly boss once in patch 3.1.
Leaks from reliable sources claim that Scaramouche is coming in Genshin Impact 3.1
According to the alleged Uncle DumbDumb, one of the insiders of Genshin Impact, Scaramouche will become a weekly boss soon. But not only that, a newer leak suggests that Scaramouche will also be playable. As for the speculated release date of Scaramouche, version 3.1 is likely to launch in September 2022.
Just a reminder that, unlike Signora, Scaramouche has had avatar / (potentially placeholder) element/weapon data for quite some time, now. He will be playable.
It is unknown whether this boss fight indicates a release timeline, but we thought this news was big enough to share. https://t.co/HKQeroF9J8

Moreover, the leaks claim that if the COVID-19 situation in Shanghai doesn’t gravely affect HoYoverse developers, Scaramouche will arrive in the 3.1 update as a weekly boss.
Genshin Impact follows a pattern when introducing weekly bosses to the game
If we take a look at when both Childe and Signora became weekly bosses, they were introduced in versions 1.1 and 2.1 respectively. Moreover, the Dendro Archon located in Sumeru has long been speculated to arrive in the 3.1 patch. So, it’s not impossible that Scaramouche is the next weekly boss.

Like Childe, leakers noticed Scaramouche having his own weapon and character information. So there really is a high chance of the Balladeer becoming playable in the near future.
Some fans are already taking guesses at what type of character Scaramouche will be. But since we know that the Raiden Shogun created him, it’s likely his element is Electro. However, there are no details yet about what kind of weapon he wields. Nonetheless, we highly advise Travelers to take information like this with a grain of salt. We still have a long way to go before version 3.0 releases and Phase II of 2.6 just started.
