Are you done with the main story of God of War: Ragnarok already? That doesn’t mean the adventures across the remaining realms are over, warriors! There are more quests once you complete the game, so let’s get to it. In case you plan to begin The Last Remnants of Asgard in God of War: Ragnarok, here’s a guide for you, players.
The Last Remnants of Asgard Favor
Once you complete the main story of God of War: Ragnarok, this Side Quest is automatically triggered.
- The goal of this Side Quest is to make safe the wreckage of Asgard. In each Realm, there should be wreckage defended by the Einherjar. You must defeat the Einherjar forces in the areas to clear the wreckages.
- A total of 10 locations should be explored to finish The Last Remnants of Asgard Favor.
- Check out the locations for rewards like Lore Scrolls, crafting components, resources, and Red Chests to loot from. Let’s start!
Burning Cliffs at Muspelheim
- To kick off our Realms exploring, head over to Muspelheim. The wreckage is located at the Burning Cliffs.
- It should specifically be down near the entrance to Surtr’s Forge. Beware of the Einjenhar forces ahead. Also, peek at the Chest in the area!
Near Freyr’s Camp at Vanaheim
- You can find wreckage at a shore on the north of Vanaheim. It should be near the area of Freyr’s Camp.
- When you reach the Mystic Gateway near the Einjerhar, unlock the Red Chest. Once looted, the Einherjar would attack you, so make sure to defeat them!
Eastern Barri Woods at Vanaheim
- Another wreckage can be found at Vanaheim, specifically in Eastern Barri Woods. This is the area after the Forest Ancient we encountered during the main quest with Freya and Odin’s Curse.
- You’d probably come from the path with wooden planks. You need to grapple your way up and once you drop down to the area on your right, then the Einherjar forces would just be in the small camp in the area. Clear the wreckage then open the Red Chest.
Alberich Hollow at Svartalfheim
- Now, off to another Realm to find the rest of the wreckage. Head first to Alberich Hollow to find wreckage there. The Dragon Beach should be in the area as well, so come by.
- The area is the long pathway to reach the statue with the hammer we went to when retrieving The Lost Treasure and Durlin’s Hammer. While trailing the path, you can already spot the forces roaming around, so ready your battle skills!
Aurvangar Wetlands at Svartalfheim
- In the Svartalfheim Realm in God of War: Ragnarok, another wreckage happens to be there. Visit the Aurvangar Wetlands region to locate it. Dock your boat on the shore with a flag like in the photo below, just for reference.
- The wreckage should be found northwest of the island. Once you hop off your boat, the Einherjar guards would come from the area on the right side. Take them all down before entering the area with the Red Chest!
Jarnsmida Pitmines at Svartalfheim
- The last wreckage in the Realm of Svartalfheim can be found in Jarnsmida Pitmines. It should be easier to reach via Mystic Gateway. So make sure you unlocked the Gateway here!
- From the Gateway, you can reach the wreckage at the southern portion of the mines. The Einherjar forces are scattered on different platforms in the area.
- If you haven’t unlocked it yet, you can use your Draupnir Spear to cross the gap, and the Spear to slide your way down the area. There should be a chain to go up to so climb up to face the enemies.
- Defeat them all with the help of your Companion, and loot all rewards in the area!
Well of Urd at Midgard
- Two wreckage can be seen in the Realm of Midgard. The one should be near the Well of Urd. Halt your sled when you reach the area, and be ready to battle.
- Climb up the ledge and move to the path on your left. The guards should be there waiting for you to appear and fight them off. Make sure to clear the area out!
Lake of Nine at Midgard
- The famous Lake of Nine also has wreckage so while you’re in Midgard, prepare to head next to it.
- If you’re familiar with the Jotunheim Tower, interact with the lift to make you go up. When you reach the top, hop off the left and go to your right. They should be waiting for you there, take them all down.
- This is also the location where Kratos and his allies set up camp before attacking Asgard in the final quest of the main story.
- Also, check the surroundings afterward to find rewards and the Red Chest!
The Strond at Alfheim
- For the last Realm, you can explore Alfheim for the final two wreckage sites. Head first to The Strond region. Remember where you saw Tyr with the path filled with Twilight Stones? Head over there and you can find a wall to climb up when you reach that area.
- Once you climb up, just follow the path and move straight ahead. Fight off the enemies to clear the objective in this area.
- Crafting components, Hacksilver, and Resources await you in every wreckage you clear!
The Barrens at Alfheim
- Lastly, head over to the east side of The Barrens. However, since this is the last wreckage, a stronger opponent faces you.
- Encounter a boss fight against Stinnr and Sterkr. The former holds a scythe and while the latter holds a warhammer. Make sure to have your Runic Attacks ready. The two enemies should be easy to fight, just dodge and defend their attacks well.
- The best strategy in fighting dual mini-bosses is to prioritize one first before focusing on the other.
- Additionally, your Companion’s attacks would help you as well. Use your Spartan Wrath on the second enemy after defeating the first.
- Notice that the surroundings have health crystals scattered, so you don’t need to equip Valour for this battle!
The Last Remnants of Asgard complete
- Defeat the enemies during the boss fight! And when the last wreckage is cleared, this marks The Last Remnants of Asgard complete.
