GTA 5’s new generation remaster review was met with displeasure by gamers who were disappointed by the lack of new features. This new-gen edition was launched last week for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Rockstar Games’ next-generation Grand Theft Auto V re-release has only been out one week. However, it appears that the gaming community is not happy with what they’ve included for consoles. For other players, this is how they intended to show their displeasure – they chose the review bombing method. This involves casting in large numbers with negative ratings to make the game’s average score drop.
Grand Theft Auto V now has an average user rating of 2.7 on PlayStation 5 and 3.0 on Xbox Series X.
The average user rating for Rockstar Games on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 is all-around 8 on all of these platforms. So, we may conclude that this boycott is taking place solely on the new generation consoles.
In what way are the players upset?
- In the remarks, it appears that the community is dissatisfied with the minimal enhancements that Rockstar Games has made in this relaunch of the new generation of Grand Theft Auto V; which is paid for even by those who already own the game on PS4 and Xbox One.
- Additionally, some players complain about the absence of fresh material. Others also complain about the three graphics settings that force us to choose between 4K, 30FPS or 1440p, 60FPS.
