We have sad news for some GTA 5 fans as the fan-favorite game is about to bid farewell to Xbox Game Pass. GTA 5 is one of the most loved and popular games of our generation. So, Xbox Game Pass users will surely be disappointed with this news.
Goodbye To Auto
GTA 5 made a comeback on Xbox Game Pass this April, but only after 3 months, it is about to be leaving soon. On the Xbox Gaming Pass website, GTA 5 suddenly appeared within the leaving soon section. Surprisingly, no prior announcement was made by Rockstar or Xbox to let the fans know of the game’s fate. Even now, there has been no announcement and it just appeared in the leaving soon section, disappointing a lot of fans.
When Does It Leave?
As mentioned above, it now appears in the leaving soon section. But the date or time of its departure isn’t mentioned. All we know is that the notice above them read, “These games exit the Xbox Game Pass library in the next two weeks.” For all we know, it could be a couple of weeks, a couple of days, or even a couple of hours. We sincerely hope it’s not the latter ones but what can we say.
We will have to wait for some form of announcement or intimation from Rockstar Games. So keep a tab on their official social media handles. Since it will leave anytime within two weeks, we recommend you make the most out of whatever time is left.
On the brighter side though, GTA 5 is now available on all other platforms including PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Also, there are a lot of other cool games available on Xbox Games Pass. But considering the insane popularity of GTA 5, its departure will surely affect a lot of fans.
