Halo Infinite: Fan Discovers 14 Hidden Modes

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer sure has some hidden treasures to unearth! The multiplayer mode of Halo Infinite has some hidden modes available on PC. These hidden modes appear to be accessible only if players boot up their game but in offline mode.

FAN DISCOVERS NEW MODES

Reddit user u/WickedSoldier991 spotted that the game seems to consist of fourteen additional multiplayer game modes that are not yet accessible in the regular online game, including the unreleased Arena, Fiesta, Ranked, and Tactical modes.

However, unless and until players launch these in offline mode, they will not be able to tap into and access the hidden modes. But as WickedSoldier991 stated that once players discover these hidden modes, each of these modes can be saved such that players can access them whenever they are online at a later point in time.

As is usual, Infinite’s multiplayer component now has 17 distinct playable modes, including Slayer, Oddball, and Capture the Flag. The hidden modes also include some completely new ways to play, increasing the total to 31 distinct multiplayer options.

“Fun fact: If you launch Infinite offline, you can access the modes currently unavailable. If you go online after, you can save them for yourself. Attrition, Tactical, and Fiesta’s other modes. If anyone’s having trouble getting the modes, add me and try to access my file share to get them. If that doesn’t work, [let me know] and I’ll try to host some customs with people and pass the mode around that way.”

HIDDEN MODES

Attrition – which is one hidden mode in the game seems very brand new. According to people at PC Gamer, this allows players to pull off extraordinary skills that will have the ability to replenish players’ respawns and allow players to revive their dying teammates. Unsurprisingly, it also has a Danger Zone, which is a Battle Royale-style ever-decreasing circle. Here is a full list of Hidden Offline Modes:

ARENA Attrition, Attrition Dodgeball, Elimination
FIESTA Attrition, CTF, One Flag CTF, Strongholds
RANKED Elimination, One Flag
TACTICAL Slayer, Manglers (Slayer), Sidekicks (Slayer), Stalker Rifles (Slayer)

At the present, it appears that the modes can only be accessed via PC and not Xbox. It’s unlikely that 343 intended for players to discover the modes at this point. However, the team has lately dealt with a number of other bugs. As the release date of Halo Infinite approaches, the team has been hard at work refining the game’s contentious advancement system as well as responding to fans’ complaints about an increase of cheaters in the game.
