Jonathan Majors’ high-profile domestic violence trial continues, as his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, accuses him of assault after allegedly hitting her face, twisting her arm, and fracturing her finger. Now, new evidence has emerged and shows the movement coach chasing the actor down during the alleged night of the alleged altercation in March. So, what really happened then?
New Video from Jonathan Majors’ Trial
The new video from Jonathan Majors’ trial, released Wednesday, shows Grace Jabbari chasing her then-boyfriend down the streets. According to The New York Post, the prosecutors claimed that the incident happened during the alleged violent encounter between the two inside a car service’s back seat in March.
The surveillance footage, obtained my TMZ, was shown to the jurors in Manhattan Criminal Court. It saw Majors lifting Jabbari and shoving her inside the black Cadillac Escalade several times after the vehicle pulled over in Chinatown.
Jabbari followed the actor out of the car and to the corner of Centre and Canal Streets. He then pushed her away by extending his arms and ran.
In court, the British dancer testified that Majors delivered a “hard blow” across her head that resulted in opening up a gash on her ear. He also allegedly grabbed her finger and twisted her arm during the fight that happened when she met him on the set of the Marvel movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Majors pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges, as his lawyers contended that Jabbari was the aggressor.
The Reason Behind the Encounter Between Jonathan Majors and Grace Jabbari
Grace Jabbari told the jurors that the brutal encounter between her and Jonathan Majors happened after she saw a flirty text on his cell phone from a woman named Cleopatra. She explained that she followed Majors out of the car to demand answers, but he pushed her back to the car and ran away.
Other trial evidence released were photos that showed a gash behind Jabbari’s right ear, which she claimed she suffered from Majors’ alleged assault, and the bruising and swelling on her fractured right middle finger. The images were said to be taken the morning after the incident.
In addition, the court released a full recording of Majors telling Jabbari to act like Michelle Obama and Coretta Scott King in December 2022. The talk occurred at the time he claimed she returned home “drunk.”
Realizing Jonathan Majors doesn’t dress like that just for fun but because he really thinks he’s a Civil Rights Revolutionary is something I did not expect

“Coretta Scott King…do you know who that is? That’s Martin Luther King’s wife. Michelle Obama, Barack Obama’s wife,” he said in a part of the recording Jabbari played for the jurors. “I’m just gonna say this. My temper, my s—t, my….all that said…I’m a great man. A GREAT man. I am doing great things, not just for me but for my culture and for the world.”
Moreover, the court released a full-text message exchange between Majors and Jabarri in which the 34-year-old star urged her not to go to the hospital after suffering from a head injury in another incident that happened in September 2022.
“I fear you have no perspective of what could happen if you go to the hospital,” he texted. “They will ask you questions, and as I don’t think you actually protect us, it could lead to an investigation even if you do lie and they suspect something.”

Jabbari assured him she wouldn’t say anything and would tell the doctor she bumped her head instead as she wanted to be with him.
The prosecutors ended the case on Wednesday morning. If Majors is found guilty, he will face up to a year in jail.
The new evidence has put the internet in splits, as some claim that Jonathan Majors is probably innocent as he was trying to get away from Grace Jabbari when the alleged brutal encounter between the two happened. However, it’s a big question as to where Jabarri got all the bruises and wounds she had that she showed to the jurors, along with the words he had said to her. As the trial and investigation continue, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
