Possible pros and cons

Now, let’s take a closer look at the possible pros and cons of Weverse DM.

One of the most significant advantages of Weverse DM is the opportunity for fans to feel like they’re having a conversation with their favorite artists. This personalized interaction can create a sense of intimacy and make fans feel more connected to their idols. Additionally, artists can use Weverse DM to build closer relationships with their fans, showing a more personal side of themselves.

However, there are some potential downsides to Weverse DM. One concern is the possibility of hate and threats being sent to artists. This has been seen on other messaging platforms like Dear U Bubble and UNIVERSE. Antis or those with ill intentions may take advantage of this feature to harass or target idols, which can be distressing and harmful.

Another issue to consider is the obligation this type of paid subscription service places on artists to interact with their fans. Although the platform can provide more opportunities for interaction, it may also pressure artists to spend more time on the app than they’d like. There is also the possibility that some fans may feel disappointed or frustrated if they don’t receive a response from their idols.

The prevalence of hate and harassment on other messaging platforms concerns many people. Fans understandably worry about the possibility of their favorite artists being targeted. Everyone must remember that idols are human beings who deserve to feel safe and respected. We should not subject them to hateful messages or threats. Let’s hope that Weverse can create a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.
