League of Legends: Update 11.18, Early Patch Notes

League of Legends 11.18 Patch Notes - Early Details

League of Legends patch 11.17 was launched just days ago and we already have some early information on patch 11.18. Referred by gamers as League, it is a 2009 multiplayer online battle arena video game developed by Riot Games. Even after 11 years of its release, it is still one of the most popular and trending video games out there. But you know that, and that is why you are here, so let’s dive straight into patch 11.18.

Champion Skins

As usual, with a new update, some new champion skins will also be unlocked like the Phoenix skins in patch 11.17. This time a fresh set of Pentakill Skins has been released in the update. Seven characters have got the new Pentakill skin but by far, Viego’s Pentakill skin is probably the best. With the sword held like a guitar and a glowing red crown, it gives him a really cool, appealing and rockstar-like look. Here are all the new skins coming with this update.

Rengar Modifications

For those who are unaware, Rengar is a ferocious vastayan trophy hunter who lives to track down and kill dangerous creatures. He is an assassin with wide range of abilities, and he will receive some great buffs in the upcoming update.

His passive ability called Unseen Predator will undergo the following changes:

  • Max Ferocity stacks will reduce from 4 to 3
  • Jump will no longer gain a stack of Ferocity from 0
  • Ferocity stack falloff time will increase from 8 to 10
  • Empowered Cast MS Duration will increase from 1.5 seconds to 3 seconds
  • Empowered Cast MS will decrease from 30/40/50% to 20/25/30%
  • Bonetooth Forgiveness Timer will be increased from 1.5 seconds to 3 seconds

Rengar’s Battle Roar will now deal 50 (50 + 80% AP) magic damage to nearby enemies and will grant 10 Armor. Its Magic Resist will be increased by 50% for each Champion or Large Monster hit beyond the first. At max ferocity, it deals 50 (50 – 220 + 80% AP) magic damage.

Also, Rengar’s Bola Strike will now feature no cast time when leaping and will reveal the enemies for two seconds. So, Rengar will get pretty solid buffs making him even more useful. The League of Legends 11.18 update is all set to arrive on Thursday, September 9th.
