People all around the social media fandom are waiting for the release of this particular trailer. Yet again, Marvel Studios has studied the art of releasing trailers right under our noses. But, luckily, we have also learned the art of staying afloat and waiting in excitement for such trailers. So without further ado, this is the trailer breakdown of Marvel Studios Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Trailer Breakdown and what we may have missed.

With Elton John’s Yellow Brick Road in the background, we start off with Scott enjoying a moment as he walks under a perfect, sunny San Fransisco, talking to himself and pondering, “Scott, you are an ex-con. How are you an Avenger?”
Scott Lang: Ant-Man

A quick recap, Scott is an electrical engineer who became a cat burglar and has been going against the law and executing heists all throughout the time he became part of something bigger… or smaller than himself… Being an Avenger, conducting a time-heist five years after the snap, being in the quantum realm long enough to learn to go back in time and save the future.
We all know that everything gets better after he gets a chance to save his loved ones and others from Thanos’ snap. So here, he becomes the employee of the century for Baskin’ Robbins, getting recognized by people for what he has done for the world and just as he gets his cuppa, a cafe owner says, “Thank you, Spider-Man!”
Cassandra Lang: Stinger

Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) gets her debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. She learns the facilities of the quantum realm, thanks to her foster mom, Scott, Janet and Henry Pym (Michael Douglas). “There are still people who need our help.” Cassie created a beacon or satellite intended for the quantum realm.

In the comics, Cassie plays two aliases, Stature and Stinger, however, the trailer confirms that she plays Stinger because of the violet quantum suit. Janet questions her, “Wait a minute. You are going to send a signal down to the quantum realm?” Then the beacon starts beeping. Janet then exclaims “Turn it off, now!”
A discovery gone wrong

The stone or gem blows off a beam sending the team flying then it starts sucking everything around it. Henry holds Janet and Scott holds onto Cassie. The suction was so strong that everyone couldn’t hold on any longer then they got sucked into it, eventually.
Scott and Cassie land in a realm unlike the realm we saw in Ant-man and the Wasp. This looks like another world within the Quantum realm or also known as Chronopolis.
Chronopolis: Kang’s Kingdom

Chronopolis, in the comics, is Kang’s time-spanning kingdom located between Limbo and our realm. The city is circular in shape and a huge transparent dome covers it. It contains access points to all of the time eras that Kang had conquered or was in the process of conquering. Janet says that “It’s a secret universe beneath ours.” This makes sense since the concept of the quantum realm is out of sight but it is now known.
Hints from Yellow Brick Road

The lines from the song, “When are you gonna come down? When are you going to land?” seems like Kang was waiting for someone to come to his realm to exploit him to expand his kingdom.
Then the lines, “I should have stayed on the farm. I should have listened to my old man.” is Cassie’s regret that she should not have created that quantum device and that she should have listened to Janet while there was time.
Janet’s Secret

We see another shot similar to that of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 when Rocket, Groot and Yondu were time jumping from one point to another or that of Loki episode 1 when Loki lands on the Gobi desert. We see three smoke paths flying in then cut to another, we see Henry, Janet and Hope on what looks like a red stingray.

Hope asks Janet, “What are you so afraid of?” Janet replies with a scene putting on her hood, “There’s something I never told you.” recalling the time she stayed in the quantum realm during Hope’s teenage years until Scott had a quantum entanglement with Janet in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Time Portals

In another scene, we see a sphere is placed inside a container. These could be time portals that Kang uses to get back to times and places he has conquered or is about to conquer. Another scene shows Chronopolis up close with rings that may have a similar design glow or power that the Ten Rings and Ms. Marvel’s bangle, wields.

“This place isn’t what you think.” Kang says to Scott. It could be a call back to Janet’s long stay in the quantum realm that altered her mind and aged her differently.
Kang the Conqueror

We now see our first look at Kang the Conqueror (played by Jonathan Majors – Loki, Lovecraft Country, Creed III) standing still as rings revolve around him. Janet opens an interesting door that might lead to a saloon in Chronopolis where we see different people inside. These could be people who were snapped and decided to stay in this realm instead of being blipped.
Bill Murray: Krylar

We also, briefly, get to see Bill Murray’s character, Krylar, an Incredible Hulk character. He could be another foe in this film who may have a machine that generates a physical embodiment of someone’s fear. Well, we’ll just have to see this revealed when this Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania comes out.

Ant-Man gets surrounded by these aircrafts from Kang’s army then we get to see a creature preparing to attack Janet. It could be something that Janet fears generated by Krylar’s machinery.
Kang’s Offer

“I can get you home and give you more time…” Kang says to Ant-Man while we see a scene where Ant-man is getting that “Spaghetti” treatment referencing Reed Richards’ demise in Doctor Strange 2. “So, What’s it gonna be? Ant-man?” The camera switches from a worried Scott lang to Kang with scars from his forehead running across his intense eyes down to his cheeks then back to Scott. Scott’s only mission is to get back to their reality and to accomplish that, he needs to something for Kang in return. What could that deal entail?
The trailer really does not give much but as previously revealed, this film focuses on the quantum realm. The visuals in this trailer alone are awesome! What else could be in store in this movie and how will this result in Kang finally having his dynasty? We’ll just have to find out when Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023.
