The much-awaited MCU animated anthology series is almost here! While most of us have been waiting for a release date for Marvel’s What If…? season 2, we did not expect that the episodes’ titles would be leaked before the official premiere date. A reliable MCU leaker who calls themselves CanWeGetSomeToast on Twitter (X) posted actual episode titles for the show’s second season. Here are the Marvel’s What If…? season 2 episode titles and every episode’s possible plot as we explain everything we know.
The actual episode titles for #WhatIf Season 2 (release order subject to change):
• Episode 201: What If… Nebula Joined the Nova Corps?
• Episode 202: What If… Peter Quill Attacked Earth's Mightiest Heroes?
• Episode 203: What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World?

Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 201: What If… Nebula Joined the Nova Corps?
In Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: End Game, and Marvel’s What If…? Season 1, we already saw how impactful a kind-hearted Nebula would be. But what if Nebula joins the Nova Corps instead of being a steward for Thanos?
Although we don’t know in which timeline this will take place (maybe before the first Guardians of the Galaxy movies), we would like to believe this could slightly change the landscape of the battle between the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Nova Corps, and Ronan the Accuser.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 202: What If… Peter Quill Attacked Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?
In the second episode of the first season of this animated anthology series, T’Challa became the Star-Lord instead of taking the mantle of the next Black Panther. Instead of Peter Quill, T’Challa was the one adopted by Yondu.
On the other hand, Peter Quill was still an average human being left on Earth. At the conclusion of the “What If… T’Challa Became a Star-Lord?” episode, the show revealed Peter’s father, Ego, the living planet, reconnecting with him. That could be a subtle hint that Ego will give Peter Quill (without his morals as Star-Lord) his powers and probably go up against the Avengers. Peter, as Star-Lord, does not have a chance against Captain America and co. But with Ego’s abilities to manipulate the weather, generate tremors, create non-sentient plant and animal life, telepathy, and extreme intelligence, he’d most likely give Earth’s mightiest heroes a run for their money.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 203: What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World?
The third episode in season 2 will feature an original character named Kahhori. Marvel announced earlier this year about Kahhori’s arrival in the MCU.
Well, who is Kahhori?
Kahhori is an all-new character hailing from the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. She is a young Mohawk from the Wolf Clan whose name translates to “she stirs the forest” or “someone who motivates those around her.” The story begins after Kahhori discovers the Tesseract, which leads to her journey of discovering her true powers. Her adventures would take place prior to the time when the British colonized America. However, very little is known about this new MCU character.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 204: What If… Hela found the Ten Rings?
We never really knew what happened to Hela after Surtur annihilated Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok. But one thing is for sure – Thor cannot defeat Hela (at least in that movie). With just bare hands, the estranged sister of the God of Thunder managed to easily break Mjolnir, which, as we all know, is made with one of the strongest materials in the universe.
Imagine a world where Hela, an already overpowered God of Death, discovers the powerful Ten Rings. The Ten Rings granted its first user, Xu Wenwu, with immense mystical powers. It also gave him immortality. Rumor has it that the Ten Rings are even stronger than the Infinity Stones. Hela and the Ten Rings would sound like a very formidable ally, not just for Thor but even for the Avengers.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 205: What If… lron Man Crashed into the Grandmaster?
We haven’t got a clue yet how Iron Man would end up in Sakaar. Will he be the one who becomes Grandmaster’s champion instead of the Hulk? Or will he be replacing Thor in that scene in Thor: Ragnarok?
That being said, we can only say that the Grandmaster will definitely like Tony Stark’s Iron Man technology. Also, this could explain why Tony Stark has a Saakarian Iron Man suit.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 206: What If… Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?
What If…? Season 2 has no official release date yet, but it’s slated to be released sometime in December this year or early 2024. Well, the 6th episode would be the perfect homage to Christmas.
Happy Hogan has already appeared twice in this animated series, but only in cameos.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 208: What If… Captain Carter Fought the Hydra Stomper?
We will see more of Captain Carter in season 2, but probably on the opposite side of the battle (or not).
The 8th episode, titled “Episode 208: What If… Captain Carter Fought the Hydra Stomper?” is likely an alternate version of Captain Carter’s heroics during World War 2. After an event forced Peggy Carter to be injected with the supersoldier serum, the young and skinny Steve Rogers did not get the chance to become Captain America. However, Rogers still played an essential role after he suited up as the Hydra Stomper, a suit made by Howard Stark. If we’re speculating, this episode could feature a battle between Steve Rogers’ Hydra Stomper and Captain Carter.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 209: What If… The Avengers Assembled in 1602?
“What If… The Avengers Assembled in 1602?” is basically based on the comic book limited series written by Neil Gaiman titled “Marvel 1602” in 2003. In this alternate universe, famous Marvel characters such as the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and more banded together in the early 1600s.
In this timeline, Marvel superheroes find themselves at war against a mysterious force that threatens to destroy not only Earth but the whole universe.
Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 Episode 210: What If… Strange Supreme Intervened?
Oh yeah! It’s time for this series to answer the cliffhanger in season 1. We witnessed how scary a self-aware Ultron can be with the powers of the Infinity Stones. Even the Watcher was scared for his life. We also witnessed he couldn’t defeat Infinity Ultron alone. This is where the strongest version of Doctor Strange, Strange Supreme, comes into play. This time, will the Watcher break his oath and intervene? Does Strange Supreme have a chance at beating Infinity Ultron and his devious plans to eliminate everything?
