Microsoft Reportedly Paid $50 Million+ To Ninja To Stream Exclusively On Mixer

Yesterday Ninja made a very surprising announcement on Twitter, stating that he’ll stream exclusively on Mixer from now. This was a pretty big move from both Ninja’s and Microsoft’s standpoint. Given the fact that Ninja already had a well-established fanbase on Twitch, it was very obvious that there was a multi-million dollar deal behind the move.

The Verge’s senior editor today tweeted that Microsoft paid $50 million+ to Ninja for streaming exclusively on Mixer. This is contrary to the previously rumored amount of 100 million dollars which was in the air since the announcement. Considering this might be a game-changer for Microsoft’s streaming network Mixer, this might be worth the gamble from Microsoft’s perspective.
