MrBeast Recreates Squid Game With $456,000 Cash Prize

The Squid Game craze has not died down even after all this time. With the characters being emulated in different game mods, and even a multiplayer online game being created, Squid Game has very much become a small part of the gaming scene. However, MrBeast, the American Youtuber, has taken it one step further.

MrBeast has actually recreated Squid Game in real life! Without the savagery and killing, of course. However, the cash prize is very much real. The recreation is captured in a video and shows that the recreation is very much accurate in looking just like the show.

Let the games begin

Just like the show, 456 players took part in the real-life Squid Game, and by competing in a series of elimination games, such as Red Light, Green Light, marble game, tug-of-war, honeycomb candy game, and even the glass bridge games, all with safety mechanisms. Even the ball of cash that fills up progressively has also been recreated.

• MrBeast has done quite a good job in recreating the show. He is known for conducting stunt games for cash prizes already, and few others might have gotten as close to the original show.
• However, this did not come without MrBeast having to invest a significant amount of cash. MrBeast has reportedly spent around $3.5 million, including the cash prize of $456,000. Check out the video below.

The Criticism

• While some people have been amused by this accurate recreation of the popular show, some have criticized MrBeast, stating that the recreation of the show, and the money spent on it, means that he has missed the underlying purpose of the show itself.
• The disagreements with the recreation have been greater, leading to controversies around the video. People have is that the money could have alternatively been used for a better purpose.
• However, MrBeast is not only a Youtuber, he is also a philanthropist, and regularly uses the money for social purposes. He is known for feeding people and giving away food for disadvantaged people.
