NBA: Kevin Durant’s Possible Return in Early March
Breaking: Kevin Durant is more likely to return to the hardwood THIS WEEK. Durant’s possible return could ignite the “SCARY HOURS” once again for the Brooklyn Nets.
The Nets are getting better with their recent additions. Players such as the All-Star point guard, Ben Simmons, as well Seth Curry, and Andre Drummond. Add to that the veteran presence of Goran Dragic. Dragic is a very underrated pick-up and certainly a huge steal from the buyout market.
Although they are currently sitting on the 8th seed in the East (32-29), the Nets could be a huge threat if all their players are healthy.
Before being injured, Kevin Durant was an MVP favorite. He was averaging 29.2 points, 5.8 dimes, and 7.4 boards a night while shooting an efficient 52% from the field and 37.2% from trifecta. He was also leading the Nets to the first seed.

KD has been out due to an MCL sprain since mid-January. He hasn’t played since and the Nets are already missing his presence on the court.
Steve Nash, Brooklyn Nets head coach has announced that Durant is more likely to return on Monday than his projected return on Saturday. If he returns, he will play in a game against the Toronto Raptors.
“I’m sure it’s possible [he plays Saturday] but for me, it’s probably in the next three games more likely than Saturday,” Nash said.

With KD’s return, the Nets now have full firepower, though Kyrie can play only half of the games. 11 of the last 21 of Brooklyn’s games will be against above .500 teams. This may sound alarming but if KD returns to his old form, it wouldn’t be much of a problem.
Ben Simmons also has not played yet and will be further re-evaluated due to back soreness.
